Many people have heard of the saying, “that one time at band camp” and usually begin to laugh. Two days later Sayos watched as his mother brought Namia into his home. He studied Namia and began to wonder what Kyra would look like today. Sayos imagined that she would have her mother’s light brown hair and be about her mother’s height of five foot seven. Since his mother and sister looked more like siblings, Kyra would most likely have her mother’s high cheek bones, small delicate nose, and plump rosy lips.

Ren couldn’t believe how many people had pointed or stared at her as Sayos led her to where her ship was docked. The whispering natives made her feel like some freak from space…or Rita when she walked through town covered in blood. Skipping. Shaking the insane memory from her mind, she glanced to where her lovable ship was docked. Once she reached her ship, Ren had to slip past the onlookers that had come to see the outsider’s ship. When they noticed that she wasn’t from the island the whispers erupted all around her again.
Shaking her head, she leapt aboard and walked over to the bridge.
